Safety

At Standard Contracting our regard for Safety is Top Priority on every project. Each project has mandatory management, supervisory and job site safety programs, training, and meetings. Standard Contracting & Engineering Inc. has achieved OSHA "Elite" status in Northeast Ohio. Also, SCE is a member of the Great Cleveland Safety Council.
Safety training is on-going at SCE and includes but is not limited to:

  • OSHA 30 Hour - All Superintendents.
  • OSHA 10 Hour - Tradesman.
  • OSHA 10/30/500 Hour - Safety Director.
  • OSHA 30 Hour - Project Facilitator.

    • Job Site Safety Meetings and Supervisor Safety Meetings are held weekly. Safety Managers perform random project site inspections to insure compliance. At SCE, the entire Company is dedicated to making Safety the Top Priority.
